TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms for the BisonTidy Campus service
BisonTidy Campus terms for student-apartment eligibility, roommate payments, one-hour shared-area cleaning and stage-based cancellation.
CURRENT V2.4.2 CAMPUS BOOKING
One shared visit, divided among roommates
This summary applies to new agreements using campus-v5-2026-10-01-v2.4.2.
Eligibility and scope
The address must be an eligible on-campus or off-campus student apartment in Greensboro, High Point or Winston-Salem. The 60-minute base visit covers accessible shared kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Private bedrooms, beds and ordinary residential packages are excluded.
Price and payment
The shared-area base visit costs $34.90 per person for two roommates, $25.90 per person for three, or $19.90 per person for four. Selected add-ons show their own price and added time. Each roommate pays only their displayed share. Available account balance is used first, and any remainder is charged immediately through the displayed provider. The organizer chooses the first available Slot after every required share is paid. Each later visit is paid before it is scheduled.
Roommate invitation and payment
The first-service payment window lasts 48 hours. After all shares are paid, the organizer has 48 hours to choose an available first Slot. A declined, unverified, or unknown provider payment does not count as paid. If no first Slot is selected in time, each person’s unspent payment becomes their own three-year account credit.
Equal address accounts
Every payer creates personal credentials with an external email. All verified members tied to the exact street address and unit can propose later service changes and receive reports. The organizer selects the first service Slot after the group pays.
Cancellation and support
Cancellation before arrival credits the eligible visit amount to each payer’s account balance. After arrival but before work starts, one $25 apartment arrival fee is divided across participants and the rest is credited. Cash refunds require a customer request and source-by-source support review. After work starts, support handles changes and disputes.
Safety and recording
Assignment requires a current background check recorded under the BisonTidy staffing rule. Private visit recording is on by default, may be turned off by a verified apartment member, and is retained for 30 days when recorded.
Existing agreements
These terms apply to new Campus agreements after activation. Earlier agreements retain their accepted terms and payment history. A roommate accepting a new payment obligation must review the current version.

Version: campus-v5-2026-10-01-v2.4.2. Status: **APPROVED**. Business, legal, and finance approver: owner. Approved 2026-10-01. This version applies to new Campus agreements after activation; earlier agreements retain their accepted terms and payment history.
Service and price
The 60-minute shared-area base visit covers accessible shared kitchen, shared bathroom, and common living-area cleaning; private bedrooms are excluded. For a group of two, each participant's base share is $34.90 per visit; for three, $25.90; for four, $19.90. Add-Ons are itemized separately, and the actual total for each visit is divided among the participants responsible for that visit to the cent. The checkout shows each person's amount before payment.
Account balance and payment
For every paid BisonTidy service, available funds in the payer's account balance are applied first, using funds with the earliest expiration date before funds with no expiration date. An amount already reserved for another service is not available. If the balance does not cover the full amount, the remaining amount is charged immediately through the displayed payment provider; it is not merely held as a card authorization. A payment succeeds only when the provider confirms the charge and the account balance and provider portions together cover the full personal obligation. A failed card or wallet charge does not qualify that participant to move to the next service step. Stripe and PayPal confirmation timestamps are used for their respective payment results.
An accepted payment method may be saved by its provider for later charges that the customer has authorized. BisonTidy does not receive underlying card or wallet credentials. The payment provider may ask the payer to authenticate a charge. A payment whose provider result is unknown remains under review; BisonTidy does not treat it as successful or initiate another charge merely because a response was delayed.
Starting a shared plan
A new customer may start through the service checkout and provide account information there, or register an Individual account first and then start the same service checkout from the account. The checkout invites the other roommates to pay their displayed shares. A temporary payer identity may record a payment before the full group is ready. If all required shares are confirmed within the applicable 48-hour payment window, the new Individual accounts are activated and the organizer is told to sign in and choose the first service Slot. Other roommates need not vote on that first Slot. If the group does not complete payment, a temporary payer may activate their own account to view and use their personal balance.
After all required shares are paid, the organizer has 48 hours to choose an available first service Slot. Payment does not guarantee that any particular Slot is available. If no Slot is selected within that period, including when the system has no available capacity, each payer's unspent payment becomes that payer's personal account credit. The credit expires three years after that payer's original successful payment, subject to a pause while a credit amount is reserved for a service. It can be used by the same verified Individual account at its currently registered service address. A credit remaining after one service stays available until its expiration. Unused expired credit is referred for human review. The account dashboard displays the available, reserved, frozen, and expiring amounts.
Service cycle and Slots
The first confirmed service date starts the plan. The planning limit is 189 days after that date, excluding the limit date. The plan contains only complete intervals at the chosen weekly, two-week, three-week, or four-week frequency; unused days at the end are cut off. Actual future service dates must be at least seven days apart. The organizer chooses the first available Slot after full payment, and subsequent dates are generated from the cycle. A proposed or suggested Slot is not a confirmed booking until capacity is valid and the service's payment and approval requirements are met.
If the group changes frequency mid-plan, the new nominal cadence is calculated from the original first confirmed service date. A selected first changed date changes one visit: it replaces the next nominal visit in the new cadence, after which visits return to the original first-date anchor. Changes to individual visits keep the existing plan cycle. A complete plan cannot be saved or activated when the required available capacity is insufficient.
Changing or stopping a plan
An active roommate may propose a new plan, propose changes to particular unpaid visits, or stop future service. A proposed new plan states the frequency and price first. All active roommates must consent before it can proceed. Payment of every required share must then succeed within the applicable 48-hour payment process; an automatic charge that the provider has confirmed as failed may be retried once after 48 hours, with at most one hour of worker delay. A provider-unknown result is reviewed without an automatic duplicate charge. If the second charge fails, the service ends and neither the new nor old future plan resumes. Full payment makes the new plan eligible for cutover; its selected first confirmed service date anchors the cadence and 189-day limit. Only after payment may the organizer choose an available first Slot and generate its complete schedule, within the same 48-hour first-Slot window described above. A payment confirmed after the allowed retry window becomes personal balance and sends the plan for human review; it does not reactivate an expired proposal.
The agreement vote lasts 48 hours. If unanimous consent or required payment is not completed in time, the proposal expires and the earlier plan remains in effect, except where the second automatic charge failure ends service as stated above. Already paid old-plan visits continue to be performed; an overlap with a newly paid plan may result in two visits close together, and the customer is warned. A proposed first new visit less than seven days after a paid old visit triggers a warning, not a prohibition. Partially paid or provider-unknown old visits are frozen and sent for human review without automatically using or releasing their Slot.
An individual visit change applies only to the visits named in that proposal and leaves other confirmed Slots in place. One proposal may include multiple dates and requests a single round of roommate consent. An active roommate may stop future service without roommate consent. Paid visits still take place; unpaid future visits are canceled and receive no further charges. The participants are notified of new plans, visit changes, and stops.
Consent and notices
Consent requests are shown in email, the account Inbox, and the dashboard's change progress. The email contains a short link and explains that clicking it records consent immediately, without another confirmation step. The link can be clicked again while the proposal is valid. It goes to a consent receipt or an expired page according to the proposal state. The relevant consent window is 48 hours. If email delivery is disabled by preference or fails, an authorized Company Admin or Manager may decide whether to send a transactional SMS fallback. SMS is not automatic consent. Roommates can initiate a proposal, but each participant's consent is recorded for that participant only.
Add-Ons and address
An Add-On is provided only with a confirmed base-service visit; it cannot be booked alone. The catalog shows its price and duration. For each Add-On, the group may select the next eligible visit, every eligible visit, or particular eligible visits; the same Add-On may occur only once in any visit. The combined Add-On duration for one visit cannot exceed 30 minutes. When a requested combination exceeds that limit, the customer can request advice about removing or replacing items to bring the total within 30 minutes; human review cannot authorize an exception above 30 minutes.
Adding or increasing the price of Add-Ons is allowed only for a visit that has not entered its payment flow. A paid base-service visit cannot receive a new or more expensive Add-On. The customer is directed to the next eligible unpaid visit. Add-On additions and price increases require unanimous roommate consent. Removal or pause needs no vote but is available only before the affected visit has been paid; all participants are notified. The actual base service, Add-On items and quantity determine each participant's visit charge.
Changing the shared service address requires unanimous consent, and every roommate receives notice after the approved change. Future unpaid visits affected by the new address may need a new capacity check and manual scheduling review before their Slots are confirmed. The account's current registered service address controls the use of an address-restricted personal credit.
Roommate replacement
The incoming roommate must verify their identity and accept the current terms. Approval of their seat claim starts a 48-hour payment period. Their eligible account balance is reserved first and only the remainder is charged immediately through Stripe hosted checkout. Their seat becomes active only after their complete payment is verified. The complete replacement prepayment is recorded as that person's usable account balance with its original payment sources retained for accounting. If payment fails, expires, or has an unknown provider result, the incoming seat is not activated and the paused group does not resume automatically. An unknown result is reviewed before another payment or release of funds. The departing roommate's own balance and refund request remain tied to that person.
Cancellation, account credit, and cash refund requests
Unearned amounts from cancellation, stopping service, failed group setup, or other eligible returns are first credited to the person who paid them, in their account balance. They are not automatically sent back to the payment card or wallet. A participant may request a cash refund from eligible available balance through a support ticket. An authorized Company Admin or Manager reviews each source payment and applicable amount; the payment provider's result must be confirmed before the refund is shown as complete. Funds reserved for a service cannot also be refunded. Payment disputes, unknown provider results, and amounts already refunded require reconciliation and may delay the request.
Cancellation before cleaner arrival returns the eligible visit amount to each payer's balance. Cancellation after recorded arrival but before work begins may incur one $25 apartment arrival fee, divided across the participating payers; the remainder is credited to their balances. Once work has begun, cancellation or adjustment requires support review. A required re-clean is not charged again and still requires an available service Slot.
Service and payment status
Receipt of a payment link, proposal, notification, or suggested Slot does not itself confirm service. The account shows payment, consent, capacity, and schedule progress. If any payer fails to complete a required payment, that payer cannot enter the next service step. A booking is effective only after the required payment and approvals are confirmed and an available team and Slot are claimed. Where a provider or prepayment result remains uncertain, the affected service and money are held for human review rather than treated as paid, refunded, or free for another booking.

EARLIER AGREEMENT
Earlier Campus per-person terms
These terms remain available for agreements that recorded version campus-v5-2026-09-24-per-person. They do not govern newly created agreements.
Read the earlier agreement
Version: campus-v5-2026-09-24-per-person
This version is the approved payment-first Campus v5 contract for all existing and future agreements. Historical payments and prior consent evidence remain recorded. A participant who previously accepted another version must accept this version before any new payment obligation is created.
For the 60-minute shared-area base visit, each active participant pays $34.90 in a two-person group, $25.90 in a three-person group, or $19.90 in a four-person group. The corresponding apartment base totals are $69.80, $77.70, and $79.60. Selected add-ons are displayed separately and divided across active participants to the cent. Pricing for other group sizes is not available under this version. The service covers accessible shared kitchen, shared bathroom, and common living-area cleaning; private bedrooms are excluded.
For the first cleaning, each participant chooses an available credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay card wallet, or PayPal wallet. The participant authorizes the displayed share and agrees to save the chosen payment method for future charges of that participant's displayed share for confirmed cleanings under this plan. Card and card-wallet details are saved by Stripe; a PayPal wallet is saved by PayPal as a reusable payment token. BisonTidy does not receive the underlying card or wallet credentials. An authorization is a hold, not a completed payment. When every active participant is verified, has accepted this version, and has a valid authorization and reusable payment method, BisonTidy captures the authorizations as one coordinated batch.
The roommate invitation lasts 72 hours from the first confirmed authorization and then closes, even when payment settlement is still pending. A provider may require an authorization to be refreshed. PayPal's initial authorization has a three-day period in which capture is most likely to succeed. If PayPal capture remains necessary after that period, BisonTidy may request reauthorization no earlier than day four, verifies the new authorization, and captures against its new authorization ID. Scheduling waits until all required captures are confirmed. PayPal may decline reauthorization or capture; BisonTidy does not treat an unverified or failed result as payment. Card-network authorization duration is not promised, and a participant may be asked to refresh a card authorization on-session when needed.
If any first-payment capture fails, BisonTidy stops the batch, releases remaining authorizations, and refunds captures already completed. The agreement does not enter scheduling until compensation is complete or a documented manual case takes ownership.
Every cleaning occurrence, including every recurring occurrence, is paid before it is scheduled. A suggested date or time is advisory only: it does not reserve capacity, create an order, create a cleaning task, or assign a team. BisonTidy reports payment success only after the payment provider confirms that every required share for that occurrence succeeded. Only after that success response may the system attempt to claim an available team and time slot and create the corresponding service records.
The customer may choose an available date and time but cannot choose the operating team. BisonTidy assigns an eligible team using current capacity and routing information. A schedule is effective only after an available team-by-time-slot cell has been claimed atomically. Failed, partially successful, still-processing, or provider-unknown payment results never create or hold a schedule.
The 24-week plan contains suggestions only. For recurring cleaning, BisonTidy tries to preserve the previous weekday, time slot, and team in the next frequency cycle when those resources remain eligible and available. A later customer-requested change to an effective date or time still requires approval from every active participant in the frozen roster and a final payment, availability, and revision check.
After full payment succeeds, scheduling may still be pending while the system searches for a qualified team-by-time-slot cell. If no qualified cell is available, BisonTidy holds that occurrence's exact prepayment in the customer-prepayment account, creates a manual scheduling case with a one-business-day operating SLA, and gives the customer seven calendar days to choose continued waiting. Without an explicit extension or a qualified schedule, the unapplied occurrence prepayment is refunded to its original payment method.
Cancellation before cleaner arrival receives a full refund for that occurrence. Cancellation after recorded arrival but before work starts incurs one $25 apartment arrival fee, split deterministically across the active paid seats; the remainder is refunded. After work starts, cancellation and any adjustment require a documented support review.
Any participant may revoke future recurring-payment consent or request return of unapplied prepayment. Doing so stops new charges for that participant and prevents future occurrences from being scheduled until the roster and share allocation are valid again. Participant replacement and changed shares require fresh verification and consent; they do not silently transfer the departing member's obligation.
A required re-clean is not charged again, but it uses its own available team-by-time-slot cell. An approved Extra Service performed as an extension of the original cleaning inherits the original cleaning's schedule and team and does not consume a second cell. If separate Extra Service work is moved to another date or time, it is treated as independently scheduled work under its applicable payment and capacity rules.
Transactional email is required. Phone verification does not by itself grant SMS consent. When SMS consent exists, transactional SMS may supplement email; STOP suppresses ordinary SMS without removing historical proof that the number was verified. Provider delivery receipts do not control payment or scheduling state.
Refunds return to the original payment method unless the provider fails and an audited, dual-approved finance process authorizes an alternative. A refund request is not represented as completed until the provider result is verified.
