How BisonTidy Campus uses student account, apartment, payment, booking and quality information.

Information we process

This may include names, external email addresses, optional phone numbers, exact student-apartment address and unit, related campus, participant count, access instructions, authorization status, dates, reports, support messages and invoice information.

Mobile messaging information

If you opt in to BisonTidy transactional SMS, we process your mobile number, consent evidence and service messages to operate that program. We do not sell, rent or share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers solely to deliver the requested service. See the SMS Terms for program details and choices.

Student-apartment address lookup and map

Autocomplete searches BisonTidy's verified student-housing list and street addresses customers previously added after North Carolina AddressNC verification. If an address is missing, you can verify and save its street address for future searches; apartment and unit values are never added to that reusable list. After selection, only the verified street-address point is sent to Google Maps Static API to render the map. Apartment/unit, name, email and access instructions are not sent to Google.

Roommate accounts and payments

Each payer uses a private payment link and their own email. Temporary payer identities can be activated as Individual accounts, and existing verified accounts can pay from their available balance first. Active members tied to the exact address and unit can manage shared service. Payment details are entered with the enabled payment provider.

Website analytics

Campus pages and campaign pages may record page paths, campaign and referral parameters, CTA activity, IP address and approximate network-supplied location for traffic analysis and misuse prevention. Precise device GPS is not collected by this workflow.

Quality records and recording

Checklists, photos, notes, exceptions and private visit recording may be processed for the confirmed service. Recording is enabled by default and any verified apartment member may turn it off. Stored video segments are access-controlled and scheduled for deletion 30 days after upload.

Historical records

Paid bookings, payment reconciliation, accepted policy versions and audit evidence may remain under applicable business and legal retention requirements.
